A: Children First Norwich / School Readiness Council meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Dime Bank at 290 Salem Turnpike Norwich, at 9:00AM.
Q: “What is School Readiness?”
A: School Readiness is a state funded program with three main objectives:
- 1) To increase the number spaces for preschool children in high quality child care programs
- 2) To increase the number of full day/full year spaces to meet the needs of families in Connecticut
- 3) To share the cost of providing high quality care and education for young children among the state, state agencies, communities and families
